From many years professionally in the flooring business, I know alot of people think its bad design to add an area rug on top of carpet. I don’t. You have to take into account that rugs are accent pieces they add flair to a room. Make sure you use the correct pad for the surface it is covering. Some rug backs can tear up the carpet under it.
