I live in a rented apartment and my landlady permits no nails in the wall.How else can I hang a picture canvas apart from using blue tack and some sticky kind of tape from B&Q (tried both and they failed miserably)?

Most landlords don’t want nails in the wall because they look bad when you move out and take the pics with you and its a lot of work to spackle all the holes and then have to repaint the walls. Sticky tape isn’t much better. It peels the paint if it has been stuck tight to the walls for a long time. Try to keep pictures on mantels, tables, or desks. Get the stand up kind of frames. OR put little bitty holes in the walls for a pic here and there and don’t forget to fix it when you move.
