You can spray it without sanding or priming, but its gonna chip if you sneeze. At a minimum, I would use 80 grit sandpaper and scuff sand the surface, wipe the dust, then spray 1 coat primer, then 2 coats color. To do a really good job, take your time to sand, spray 2 coats self etching primer, then 3 coats color coat. Do yourself a favor and do it right! Best of luck...
